Our Story

Three generations of building this region.

What started as a haulage company building cottage roads in 1953 has grown into a full-scope construction group — still family-run, still built on the same relationships.

Where It Began

Roads that still carry traffic today.

When Morden Haulage was established in 1953, the company's primary focus was constructing service and cottage roads in the Port Severn and Big Chute area. Many of these roads are among the province's oldest — and are still serving motorists today.

In 2010, Charles Morden Construction Inc. was created, and continues to be operated by the 2nd and 3rd generations of the Morden family. The company has evolved into a residential, municipal and commercial contractor — working with many of the same people today.
